Petroleum Tanker Driver

Role Overview

At Dikus Transporters, our Petroleum Tanker Drivers play a critical role in ensuring the safe, timely, and efficient transportation of petroleum products across Kenya and East Africa. We are looking for disciplined, safety-conscious, and experienced drivers who are committed to delivering exceptional service while upholding the highest HSEQ standards

Whether transporting fuel to service stations, industrial clients, or depots, you'll become part of a trusted logistics company with nearly three decades of operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport petroleum products to designated customer locations.
• Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Ensure compliance with all NTSA regulations, HSEQ policies, and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation, trip logs, and fuel records.
• Report vehicle defects, incidents, or safety concerns promptly.
• Operate GPS tracking and fleet management systems effectively.
• Deliver excellent customer service while representing the Dikus brand professionally.
• Ensure safe loading and offloading procedures at depots and customer sites.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid Kenyan Driving Licence (Class BCE or equivalent).
• Valid Dangerous Goods (D.G.) certification.
• Valid Petroleum Driver Passport (where applicable).
• Minimum 5 years' experience operating fuel tankers.
• Clean driving record.
• Strong understanding of road safety regulations.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules and long-distance routes.
